The Wisdom of the River is the brand-new children’s book created by SCIAF! It follows the story of a community who live on the banks of a wide, flowing river and the decisions they face when a new bridge is built in their town.
On each page, readers can choose what happens next, and which community members they want to speak to. Along the way, the journey will impart wisdom from Scripture, as well as an understanding of SCIAF’s approach to our work with communities around the world.
The book is suitable for 7-10 year olds and ideal to read aloud with a grown up or for First/Second Level (CfE) and supports learning within RERC Level 2 experiences and outcomes in an education setting. It is available in both English and Gaelic.
